Abstract
viceversa.
This study pretended to define the relation between Academic Self-efficacy and Test Anxiety in students of a private Institute. This study uses a descriptivecorrelational, cross-sectional design. The sample was 310 students of 18 to 35 years from the career of Tourism of an Institute of North Lima. Perceived SelfEfficacy Scale for Academic Situations (Domínguez et al., 2014) and Test Anxiety Inventory (Villegas et al., 2015) were used. The findings show that the majority of participants have average level of academic self-efficacy and test anxiety. In addition, there is an inverse, highly significant and high degree (p=.000) correlation (rho=-.833**), which implies that while the academic self-efficacy increases, their test anxiety decreases, and vice versa.
