Actitud hacia los estudiantes con discapacidad y convivencia escolar en una institución educativa pública de Lima

Abstract

Esta investigación se llevó a cabo en una institución educativa pública del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho en la ciudad de Lima. Tuvo como propósito analizar la relación entre la actitud hacia los estudiantes con discapacidad y la convivencia escolar de los estudiantes de segundo a quinto grado de primaria. La investigación es de tipo básico, fundamental o pura, de nivel relacional, con diseño no experimental de corte transeccional y correlacional. La muestra fue de 215 estudiantes. Los instrumentos utilizados para recoger la información fueron el Inventario de Actitudes hacia Personas con Discapacidad (Rodríguez et al. 2013) y el instrumento de evaluación basado en indicadores de convivencia escolar democrática, inclusiva y pacífica (Chaparro, Caso, Fierro y Díaz, 2015). Los resultados obtenidos confirman que existe relación significativa entre las actitudes hacia las personas con discapacidad y la convivencia escolar democrática, inclusiva y pacífica. Se evidencia, según niveles positivo y neutro, que no existe relación entre las actitudes hacia los estudiantes con discapacidad según sexo. Asimismo, según niveles positivo y regular, no existe relación entre la variable convivencia escolar hacia los estudiantes con discapacidad según sexo.

This research was carried out in a public educational institution in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho in the city of Lima. Its purpose was to analyze the relationship between the attitude towards students with disabilities and the school coexistence of students from second to fifth elementary grade. The investigation is basic, fundamental, or pure, at a relational level, with a nonexperimental design of a transactional and correlational nature. The sample was of 215 students. The instrument used to collect the information were the Inventory of Attitudes towards Persons with Disabilities (Rodríguez, Sánchez, Gómez y García, 2013) and the Evaluation Instrument based on indicators of democratic, inclusive, and pacific school coexistence (Chaparro, Caso, Fierro & Díaz, 2015). The results obtained confirm that there is a significant relationship between attitudes towards people with disabilities and democratic, inclusive, and peaceful school coexistence. It is evident, according to positive and neutral levels, that there is no relationship between attitudes towards students with disabilities according to gender. Likewise, according to positive and regular levels, there is no relationship between the variable school coexistence towards students with disabilities according to sex.
