Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar el nivel de producción de textos narrativos - cuento en estudiantes que se encuentran en el IV ciclo de dos instituciones educativas privadas en el año 2023. Se busca comprender el desarrollo de competencias de escritura narrativa en relación con la estructura, coherencia y estilo de los cuentos producidos. Los resultados indican que, aunque hay diferencias según género y grado de estudio, en general, el cuarto grado muestra un mayor porcentaje de estudiantes clasificados como "logrados" en comparación con el tercer grado. Además, se observan diferencias notables entre géneros: en tercer grado, los niños tienen un mayor porcentaje en el nivel "proceso", mientras que, en cuarto grado, las niñas muestran un mayor porcentaje en el nivel "logrado". Estos hallazgos sugieren una mejora en el desempeño a medida que los estudiantes avanzan en sus estudios de la escritura narrativa en la educación primaria.
The main objective of this research work is to analyze the level of production of narrative texts - stories in students who are in the IV cycle of two private educational institutions. The aim is to understand the development of narrative writing skills in relation to the structure, coherence and style of the stories produced. The results indicate that, although there are differences according to gender and level of study, in general, the fourth grade shows a higher percentage of students classified as "achieved" compared to the third grade. Furthermore, notable differences are observed between genders: in third grade, boys have a higher percentage at the "process" level, while in fourth grade, girls show a higher percentage at the "achieved" level. These findings suggest improved performance as students’ progress in their studies of narrative writing in primary education.
