Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer la asociación entre los estilos
de socialización parental y los esquemas maladaptativos tempranos en
adolescentes de un distrito de la provincia de Cañete. Es una investigación de
nivel descriptivo, tipo básico, sustantivo, diseño transeccional descriptivo
correlacional y no experimental. Los instrumentos empleados en la investigación
fueron la Escala de Socialización Parental en la adolescencia (ESPA 29) y el
Cuestionario de Esquemas de Young (YSQ – L2). Se empleó un tipo de muestreo
no probabilístico o dirigido conformado por 175 estudiantes de ambos sexos,
cuyas edades oscilan entre 13 y 17 años, pertenecientes a familias
monoparentales y nucleares. Se encontró asociación estadísticamente
significativa entre los estilos de socialización parental autoritario, negligente e
indulgente de la madre con el esquema maladaptativo de insuficiente autocontrol
en familias monoparentales; y en las familias nucleares se encontró asociación
entre los estilos de socialización parental autoritario y negligente con los
esquemas de autosacrificio y estándares inflexibles 1. Respecto al estilo de
socialización del padre se encontró asociación entre el estilo autoritario con el
esquema maladaptativo Autosacrificio, en familias nucleares.
The present study was to establish the association between the styles of parental socialization and early maladaptive schemes in adolescents from a district in the province of Cañete. It is a descriptive level research, basic type, substantive, correlational and non-experimental transectional design. The instruments used in the research were the Parental Socialization Scale in Adolescence (ESPA 29) and the Young Schema Questionnaire (YSQ - L2). An unintentional nonprobabilistic sampling type was used, made up of 175 students of both sexes, whose ages range between 13 and 17 years, belonging to single-parent and nuclear families. A significant statistical association was found between authoritarian, negligent and indulgent parental socialization styles of the mother with the maladaptive scheme of Insufficient Self-control scheme in single-parent families; and in nuclear families, an association was found between authoritarian and negligent parental socialization styles with Self-sacrifice schemes and Inflexible Standards 1. Regarding the father's socialization style, an association was between the authoritarian style and the maladaptive schema Self-Sacrifice, in nuclear families.
