Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between attitudes and spiritual wellness of teachers of a private educational institution in Metropolitan Lima within an inclusive and personalized approach and with respect to five dimensions: professional development, family development, economic development, existencial development and religious development. Adopting a non-experimental correlational design with cross-sectional groups, the main focus of the study was descriptive and quantitative, of substantive and basic character. The research questions were structured in one general hypothesis and five specific hypotheses, using a non-probabilistic or random sample of 48 teachers from each of the three different educational levels: initial, elementary school and high school. The data was collected using two Likert scales, specifically designed for this study, which were validated for internal consistency using Lawshe's content validity formula and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Normal distribution for the data was also determined by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (attitudes = ,785; spiritual wellness = ,226) allowing hypothesis testing using parametric tests such as Pearson correlation. Results supported the general research hypothesis showing a positive correlation between attitudes and spiritual wellness of teachers ( ,738 *p< ,05) and in each of the proposed dimensions, which suggests a definite effect of the application of an inclusive education with a personalized approach. However, the hypotheis referred to the relationship with economic development could not be verified.
