Abstract
La presente investigación centra sus objetivos en identificar la relación entre los hábitos lectores y la comprensión lectora en 52 escolares de segundo grado de primaria de una institución educativa privada del distrito del Rímac – Lima Metropolitana, e igualmente comparar los hábitos lectores y la comprensión lectora de estos escolares, según las prácticas lectoras de sus padres. Este estudio es de nivel descriptivo, de tipo básica – sustantiva, y de diseño correlacional y descriptivo-comparativo. Se utilizan como instrumentos de medición: la prueba de hábitos lectores, la prueba de prácticas lectoras para padres y la adaptación realizada por Del Carpio (2016) de la prueba Evaluación de la comprensión lectora ACL-2. Las dos primeras pruebas fueron elaboradas para el presente estudio. Los resultados evidencian que, a mayores dificultades en la comprensión lectora, los escolares reciben mayores oportunidades del contexto para la promoción de la lectura y los escolares que cuentan con factores que los motivan a la lectura presentan una mejor comprensión lectora. Los escolares, cuyas madres realizan mayores prácticas lectoras, tienen una mejor comprensión lectora. Los escolares varones cuentan con mayores factores que motivan a la lectura y reciben acompañamiento en la lectura, en comparación con las escolares mujeres.
This research focuses its objectives in identifying the relationship between the reading habits and reading comprehension in the 52 schoolchildren in second grade in the district of Rimac - Metropolitan Lima, private educational institution and compare the reading habits and reading comprehension of these school children, according to the reading practices of their parents. This study is descriptive, type level Basic - substantive, and descriptive-comparative and correlational design. Were used as measuring instruments: the test of reading habits, the test of reading practices for parents and the adaptation made by Del Carpio (2016) of evaluation of ACL-2 reading comprehension test. The first two tests were drawn up with the present study. Results show that to greater difficulties in reading comprehension, schoolchildren receive greater opportunities for the promotion of reading context and schoolchildren who have factors that motivate them to read have a better performance in reading comprehension. School children, whose mothers are older reading practices, have a better reading comprehension. School boys have older factors that motivatesn reading and receiving accompaniment in reading, compared to school women.
