Abstract
El presente estudio de investigación fue elaborado para determinar la relación
entre la satisfacción laboral docente y los estilos de gestión de los directores en
instituciones educativas privadas parroquiales pertenecientes a la UGEL N°03.
La investigación es de nivel explicativo, de tipo sustantiva y de diseño
correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 239 docentes de los niveles
de Primaria y Secundaria, a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario Estilos de
gestión basados en liderazgo (adaptada del Multifactor Leadership
Questionnaire (MLQ), Forma 5X Corta de Bass y Avolio, 2000) y la Escala de
Satisfacción Laboral SL- SPC de Palma (2004), ambos instrumentos
presentaron índices aceptables de confiabilidad y validez, por medio de la
información recopilada de los docentes en función a las variables estudiadas,
se realizó la contrastación de las hipótesis de investigación, mediante el
coeficiente de correlación de Sperman.
Los hallazgos demostraron que existe una relación significativa directa entre la
variable satisfacción laboral docente y estilos de gestión basados en liderazgo.
Asimismo, se obtuvo una correlación significativa directa entre la satisfacción
laboral docente y el estilo de gestión basado en liderazgo transformacional. Así
como entre los estilos de gestión basados en liderazgo y las dimensiones;
reconocimiento personal y/o social y beneficios económicos.
This research study was prepared to determine the relationship between teacher job satisfaction and the management styles of principals in private parish educational institutions belonging to UGEL Nº 03. The research is explanatory, substantive and correlational design. The sample consisted of 239 teachers from the Primary and Secondary levels, to whom the Leadershipbased Management Styles questionnaire was applied (adapted from the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), Short 5X Form of Bass and Avolio, 2000) and the Scale of Labor Satisfaction SL- SPC de Palma (2004), both instruments presented acceptable indexes of reliability and validity, by means of the information collected from teachers based on the variables studied , the research hypotheses were tested using the Sperman correlation coefficient. The findings demonstrated that there is a direct significant relationship between the variable teacher job satisfaction and leadership-based management styles. The results were, there is a significant direct relationship between the variable teacher job satisfaction and leadership-based management styles. Likewise, a significant direct correlation was obtained between teacher job satisfaction and management style based on transformational leadership. As well as between management styles based on leadership and dimensions; personal and / or social recognition and economic benefits.
