Abstract
Las capacidades y estrategias establecidas en los procesos formativos son
esenciales para un óptimo desarrollo del trabajo docente, porque permiten un
buen desempeño que refuerza el sistema de construcción social en mejora de
los estudiantes. Las instituciones educativas buscan generar calidad en los
procesos que involucran la gestión. Por ello, la capacidad del gestor es
fundamental para enlazar los mecanismos y estrategias que configuran el trabajo
como resultado del esfuerzo conjunto entre los actores de la comunidad
educativa. Basados en esta premisa, se plantea este estudio, que busca analizar
cómo se perciben las competencias directivas y la gestión educativa del director,
desde el criterio de los coordinadores y docentes de una institución educativa
emblemática del Rímac. Se concretó un enfoque cualitativo, con especificación
del diseño estudio de caso. La muestra corresponde a cinco informantes y está
constituida por tres coordinadores y dos docentes. La definición respondió a
criterios de inclusión que permitieron la aplicación de una entrevista
semiestructurada. Los hallazgos demuestran que las competencias del director
son aspectos indispensables en la evaluación y selección del personal; gracias
a ello, se puede proyectar un cumplimiento eficiente de la gestión educativa.
Adicionalmente, se ha comprobado que la gestión directiva responde a
lineamientos normativos y se enfoca en un rol orientador y guía del personal
docente. Esto aseguraría un buen desempeño de la enseñanza, que permitirá
afrontar situaciones inesperadas y adecuar la dinámica del proceso educacional.
The capacities and strategies established in the training processes are essential for an optimal development of the teaching work, because allow a good performance that reinforces the system of social construction in improvement of the students. Educational institutions seek to generate quality in the processes that involve management. For this reason, the capacity of the manager is essential to link the mechanisms and strategies that make up the work because of the joint effort between the actors of the educational community. Based on this premise, this study is proposed, which seeks to analyze how the managerial competencies and the educational management of the director are perceived, from the criteria of the coordinators and teachers of an emblematic educational institution of Rímac. A qualitative approach was specified, specifying the case study design. The sample corresponds to five informants and is made up of three coordinators and two teachers. The definition responded to inclusion criteria that allowed the application of a semi-structured interview. The findings show that the director's competencies are essential aspects in the evaluation and selection of personnel; Thanks to this, an efficient fulfillment of educational management can be projected. Additionally, it has been verified that the directive management responds to guidelines and focuses on a guide rol and guiding role of the teaching staff. This would ensure a good teaching performance, which will allow facing unexpected situations and adapting the dynamics of the educational process.
