Abstract
La presente tesis, propone el diseño de un modelo lógico multidimensional para la implementación de un DATA MART, que servirá como base para el proceso de la toma de decisiones en la gestión del proyecto "fábrica de Software SUNAT" de la empresa GMD. El objetivo principal es proveer una solución de inteligencia de negocios que dé soporte a las necesidades de información de los usuarios finales del proyecto. Para llevar adelante el desarrollo del DATA MART (almacén de datos), se utilizó la metodología de Ralph Kimball la cual está basada en el enfoque dimensional, que sostiene que el DATA WAREHOUSE es el resultado de la unión de los DATA MART`s de la empresa. La información proporcionada por el proyecto "Fabrica de Software SUNAT", serán los requerimientos terminados por ciclo de producción (son cada tres (03) meses), la información será obtenida del Project), lo cual servirá para generar los reportes en Excel, el reporte se encuentra constituido por "campos personalizados de empresa y tablas de búsqueda" el cual es una opción que nos ofrece el Project Web App, para el llenado de los datos fueron definidos por las personas involucradas quienes generarán los reportes (Gerente, Coordinadores y Lideres Técnicos), este criterio escogido es según las necesidades del proyecto (por ejemplo el campo "Producto", permitirá escoger en los filtros o tabla de búsqueda y podrá ser visualizado a detalle por componente), los usuarios tendrán acceso a un conjunto de campos estándar, así mismo se logará una mejor administración y toma de decisiones para los involucrados.
This thesis proposes the desing of a logical multidimensional model for the implementation of a DATA MART, which serve as the basis for the process of decision making in the management of "Software Factory SUNAT" company project GMD. The main objective is to provide a business intelligence solution that supports the information needs of end users of the poject. To further the development of DATA MART (data warehouse) methodology Ralph kimball which is based on the dimensional approach, which holds that the DATA WAREHOUSE is the result of the union of the MART`sDATA Company was used. The information provided by the "software Factory SUNAT" project will be completed requirements per production cycle (thee are three (03) months), the information will be obtained from the Project), which will serve to generate reports in Excel, the report is comprised of "enterprise custom fields and lookup tables" which is an option offered by the Project web App, for filling data were defined by the people involved who generate reports (Manager, Coordinators and Leaders technicians), this criterion chosen is according to the needs of the project (eg the field "Product", allow you to choose on the filters or lookup table and can be viewed in datail by component), users have access to a set of standard fields, also be achieved better management and decision making for those involved.
