Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la influencia de la personalidad resistente y la salud espiritual sobre la salud mental positiva en profesionales de salud. La metodología responde a uno de tipo cuantitativo, de nivel explicativo, tipo básico y diseño no experimental. Los participantes fueron un grupo de 242 trabajadores de salud del primer nivel de atención, cuyas edades fluctúan entre 22 y 70 años. Para la medición de las variables del estudio, se utilizó el cuestionario de personalidad resistente creada por Kobasa (1982) en Estados Unidos y adaptada en España por Moreno-Jiménez et al. (2014) con una confiabilidad de 0.85 y 0.86; el cuestionario de salud espiritual, creado por Korniejczuk et al. (2019) en México, con una confiabilidad de .949, .938 y .921; y el instrumento de salud mental positiva de Lluch (1999) en España, con una confiabilidad de 0.80. Los resultados afirman que la personalidad resistente y la salud espiritual logran explicar el 27% y 18% respectivamente la salud mental positiva de estos profesionales. Se llega a la conclusión que la salud espiritual junto con las actitudes de personalidad resistente son un importante factor protector de la salud mental positiva.
The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of resistant personality and spiritual health on professional positive mental health. The methodology responds to a quantitative type, explanatory level, basic type and non-experimental design. The participants were a group of 242 health workers from the first level of care, whose ages are between 22 and 70 years. To measure the study variables was necessary to use the resistant personality questionnaire created by Kobasa (1982) in the United States and adapted in Spain by Moreno-Jiménez et al. (2014) with a reliability of 0.85 and 0.86; the spiritual health questionnaire, created by Korniejczuk et al. (2019) in Mexico, with a reliability of .949, .938 and .921; and Lluch's (1999) positive mental health instrument in Spain, with a reliability of 0.80. The results affirm that the resistant personality and spiritual health manage to explain 27% and 18%, respectively, of the positive professionals mental health. It is concluded that spiritual health and resistant personality attitudes are important protective factors of positive mental health.
