Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad encontrar la relación significativa
entre la variable inteligencia emocional y comportamiento agresivo en
personas tatuadas. La metodología responde a un nivel de investigación
descriptiva de tipo correlacional básico. Los participantes fueron 169 personas
entre hombre y mujeres en cuyas edades fueron entre los 20 y 60 años, a quienes
se les aplicó los instrumentos: Escala TMMS – 24 de Inteligencia Emocional de
Salovey y Mayer adaptado por Fernández, Extremera y Fernández (2004); y el
Cuestionario de Bus y Perry versión española por Andreu, Peña y Graña (2002).
Las conclusiones, indican a nivel general que existe una correlación negativa
baja y altamente significativa entre la variable inteligencia emocional y el
comportamiento agresivo; el mismo hallazgo también se produce entre las
dimensiones del estudio.
The present research aimed to find the significant relationship between the variable emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior in tattooed people. The methodology responds to a descriptive research level of a basic correlational type. The participants were 169 people between men and women to between the ages of 20 and 60, to whom the instruments were applied: TMMS – 24 Emotional Intelligence Scale of Salovey and Mayer adapted by Fernández (2004); and the Bus and Perry Questionnare Spanish version by Andreu, Peña and Graña (2002). The conclusions indicate a general level that there is a low and highly significant negative correlation between the variable emotional intelligent and aggressive behavior; the same finding also occurs between the dimensions of the study.
