Abstract
La presente investigación está orientada a profundizar en el nivel de autonomía alcanzado por los niños de 2 años que asisten a una institución educativa privada del distrito de San Borja en Lima-Perú, quiénes luego de dos años de confinamiento forzado y/o educación en modalidad virtual, ingresaron por primera vez al sistema educativo. Esta investigación es de tipo básica, de nivel descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo; y se consideró una muestra de 30 niños a quiénes, a través de una observación sistemática, se les aplicó la Escala de Maduración Social de Vineland. Este instrumento aborda 7 dimensiones para la edad de 2 años, que se evalúan en base a las conductas autónomas que el niño haya desarrollado hasta el momento de su aplicación. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación muestran que el nivel de autonomía de los niños sí se ha visto afectado como consecuencia del confinamiento forzado.
The current investigation is aimed at deepening the level of autonomy achieved by 2-year-old children who attend a private educational institution in the district of San Borja and who had to enter to the education system for their first time after 2 years of forced confinement and virtual education. The type of the research is basic in a descriptive level with a quantitative approach, it was carried out with a sample of 30 children who was evaluated through systematic observation using the Vineland Social Maturity Scale. This instrument has seven dimensions for the age of 2-years-old, their evaluation is based on the autonomous behaviors that the child has developed up to the moment of its application. The results obtained in this research show that the autonomy of the children was affected by the forced confinement.
