Abstract
El objetivo principal del estudio fue conocer el estado nutricional y Calidad de vida de los pacientes en tratamiento de hemodiálisis atendidos en el Servicio de Nefrología de un establecimiento de salud de III nivel de atención, en Lima-Perú entre los meses de agosto a octubre del año 2014. El diseño es no experimental, transversal y su propósito es describir variables, y analizar su interrelación en un momento dado. Se evaluó nutricionalmente a los treinta y cinco pacientes que realizan su tratamiento de hemodiálisis en el Servicio de Nefrología de este establecimiento de salud de tercer nivel de atención y con estos datos se determinó el estado nutricional mediante el Índice de masa corporal. Para evaluar y determinar la Calidad de vida de los pacientes se les aplicó la encuesta SF36. Se utilizó el software estadístico SPSS para el procesamiento de la información mediante, frecuencia, proporciones, gráficos y correlación de variables. Esta información se procesó, de forma individual cada variable, y se buscó relacionarlas. Los resultados indican que no existe relación entre el estado nutricional y la calidad de vida de los pacientes evaluados. Podemos sugerir que hay una tendencia positiva a la asociación de estas dos variables para lo que sería recomendable ampliar el número de pacientes.
The main objective of the study was to determine the nutritional status and quality of life of patients on hemodialysis treated at the nephrology department of a health facility III level of care, in Lima-Peru between the months of August to October year 2014. The design is not experimental, cross and its purpose is to describe variables, and analyze their interrelationship in a given time. It is nutritionally assessed at thirty-five patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment in the nephrology department of the health facility and tertiary care with these data, the nutritional status by body mass index was determined. To assess and determine the quality of life of patients were administered the survey SF36. SPSS statistical software for processing information is used by frequency, proportions, graphs and correlation of variables. This information was processed individually each variable, and sought relate. The results indicate that there is no relation between nutritional status and quality of life of patients evaluated. We can suggest that there is a positive association of these two variables it would be advisable to increase the number of patients trend.
