Abstract
En la siguiente investigación se presenta el caso clínico del pequeño Luis de 6 años y cómo el Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad afecta su vida, tanto en el ámbito escolar, social y familiar. Debido a su dificultad para prestar atención, no sigue todas las instrucciones que se le indican para realizar determinada actividad o solo sigue parte de ellas, comete errores por descuido, pierde los materiales escolares, se olvida de entregar las tareas a tiempo. Habla de forma excesiva y con tono de voz elevado, tiene dificultad para esperar su turno y frecuentemente interrumpe cuando otra persona está hablando. A menudo, empieza una actividad o tarea y no la termina, se demora en copiar lo que la profesora escribe en la pizarra, evita situaciones que implican un nivel constante de esfuerzo mental, generándole sentimientos de inutilidad e insatisfacción. En el primer capítulo se hace referencia a los aspectos generales del Trastorno de Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad, así como los posibles tratamientos aplicables al diagnóstico en la actualidad. En el segundo capítulo se desarrolla el marco metodológico, en el cual se detalla la anamnesis del paciente y el informe psicológico integral. Por último, el tercer capítulo muestra el diagnóstico obtenido, el abordaje terapéutico empleado, las recomendaciones y las conclusiones a las que se llegó al finalizar la investigación. En el anexo se muestra las pruebas aplicadas.
The following study presents the clinical case of a child of 6 years old named Luis and how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder affects his life, in social, academy and family area. Because of his difficulty in paying attention, he does not follow all the instructions to perform certain activities, makes mistakes, loses school supplies, forgets to bring in assignments on time. He talks excessively with a high tone of voice, has difficulty for waiting his turn and frequently interrupts when someone else is talking. He often begins an activity or task and he does not finish it, he delays copying from the blackboard, avoids constant mental effort situations, generating feellings of worthlessness and dissatisfaction. The first chapter refers general aspects of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder and possible treatments applied to the diagnosis nowadays. The second chapter develops methodological framework, in which the patient´s medical history and the psychological report are detailed. Finally, the third chapter shows the diagnosis, the therapeutic approach used, the recommendations and conclusions reached after the investigation. The annex shows the applied tests.
