Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el razonamiento deductivo y la procrastinación académica, según variables sociodemográficas en estudiantes de una Institución Educativa de Surco. El diseño utilizado fue no experimental de tipo transversal comparativo correlacional. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron: The Cornell Class-Reasoning Test, Form X y la Escala de Procrastinación Académica (EPA). La muestra estuvo conformada por estudiantes de 3°, 4° y 5° año de secundaria haciendo un total de 255 alumnos. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el 45% y 50% de la población presenta un nivel promedio en cuanto a la procrastinación académica y razonamiento deductivo respectivamente. Existe una relación positiva, pero no significativa entre el razonamiento deductivo y la procrastinación académica según las variables sociodemográficas.
