Abstract
The present investigation determines the association between the lifestyle and the nutritional status of the participants with and without the presence of cardiovascular risk. Research of descriptive level comparative and correlational, of applied type and non-experimental design. Anthropometric techniques such as BMI and abdominal perimeter; WHO pocket guide and tensiometer. The results of the analysis of the association of the Rho Spearman coefficient between the nutritional status and the lifestyle in which there is a relationship (Rho = 0.37, p = 0.025) in the case of the group with cardiovascular risk, a difference of which no association will be presented that does not exist. There is a higher percentage of participants with an unhealthy lifestyle with the presence of cardiovascular risk than without risk. A healthy lifestyle is higher in participants without cardiovascular risk. Overweight participants were the ones with the highest cardiovascular risk, and participants who had and did not have cardiovascular risk a similar percentage of obesity.
