Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze and determine the maternal attitudes of first-time mothers with and without a history of rape. For this, 130 mothers between 14 and 20 years of age in the city of Lima were evaluated. In this sense, were used the Adaptation of the Maternal Attitudes Scale in the Mother-Child Relationship of Roth, by Edmundo Arévalo in 2005 for our country, and a sociodemographic record as information gathering instruments. The results obtained point to statistically significant differences by age groups, family and psychological support in both groups of mothers (p <.01). Likewise, it is reported that the predominant attitudes were those of acceptance and overprotection in both groups. Based on the results, it is recommended to deepen support indicators to clarify the statistical differences found, given the attitudinal similarity found between both groups of mothers.
