Abstract
Este estudio buscó establecer la vinculación posible en las variables de creencias irracionales y la ansiedad estado – rasgo. La investigación tuvo nivel descriptivo, tipo básico y diseño correlacional. El muestreo fue no probabilístico y estuvo compuesta por 150 adolescentes varones y mujeres postulantes a Escuela de Suboficiales de la PNP. Para la recolección de los datos se usó el Inventario de creencias irracionales de Ellis y la Escala de ansiedad Estado – Rasgo STAI. Los resultados del estudio demuestran que existe relación directa y significativa entre la ansiedad estado – rasgo y las creencias de necesidad de afecto, afán de perfeccionamiento, ideas de catástrofe, miedo al desconocido, evitación de problemas, deseo de protección, determinismo del pasado y ocio indefinido.
This study sought to establish the possible link in the variables of irrational beliefs and state-trait anxiety. The research had a descriptive level, basic type and correlational design.
